Don't Panic is (now) a BAFTA-winning creative advertising agency specializing in purpose-driven campaigns for charities and socially-minded organizations. When I worked at Don't Panic, it was an international online magazine and media company. Virtually; they were known for their topical pop-culture based articles and competitions. Physically; they were distributing (music, clubbing, events, fashion) promotional envelope 'packs' around trendy venues worldwide.
My role
The packs include a collectable A2 poster that features a winning design from the monthly design competition. The prize (your design being distributed all over the world) is highly sought after by young creatives.
The homepage was being totally redesigned to include an online shop and a user control panel (so users could create profiles/online art portfolios). During my 10 months there, I was redesigning all the site's exsisting pages, designing new proposed pages, as well as creating flash banner advertising, eflyers and other website graphics for sponsors and competitions.
